Lame, or not?
How do people know who's lagging a whole team, if there is lag. Is that a good reason to kick someone instantly, without any form of discussion whatsoever? Team leader said I was lagging the game, I was instantly kicked and nobody else protested. Seemed like it was the most normal thing in the world.

How longdid it take you to join the group outside? I'd rezone and boot someone if I had to sit there more than a minute waiting for them to join the party. More info please.

I have the feeling that it was personal. The guy was a runner, and died already three times. I didn't speak much. I was just telling him that we didn't mind that he died a few times. Nobody was in any hurry. Anyway, I wasn't even the last one in. Some people were slower than me. |

10 or 15 seconds is irritating sometimes, but not a good reason to boot someone imo. So, lame is my answer. Hell, I can grab a fresh beer in 15 seconds.

He is on my ignore list. Not that I don't want to talk to him anymore, I just don't want to play with him anymore. I didn't need the run anyway. I was there only for fun. Sometimes I'm just curious if somebody is able to do it, and there is only one way to find out from first-hand.
I personally think that it was him lagging the team. I don't think he ever made the run. Anyway, the question was if he was lame. I think that frendlyness goes a long way. Kicking someone for being slow is lame. |

When I was on dial-up I would load slow sometimes. I had to do a reinstall and did an Oro run with my guild. They had almost finished the whole run by the time I had downloaded the entire content. They didn't rezone and kick me. Man I love my guild!
OP ~ Unless there is something you're not telling us that guy was being an ass. You don't lag the whole group. If he is running you somewhere it doesn't matter if it takes you 30 seconds or 2 minutes to load. You're just standing at the zone portal or dying or doing something else while he should be running way way way far ahead of you. Don't take it personally some people aren't very patient. It's always good to weed out impatient or obnoxious players. Putting him on your ignore list was the smartest thing to do. |

lol you never saw a typo and a "shortcut"? just so u know im in class now and its boring but i still have to listen.
just for you.... oh my god its like the lamest thing to do! kick some one for a lag! i think he was trying to put blame on you for his bad running. When i run, most of the time i ask everyone to die, so no such roblem. Anouther thing is, some people are just lucky to have good Persnal Computer (if my dad wasn't a computer cientist i would have something as old as me for 500$) and i know not evryone has a pentium 4 with best graphics card and tons of memeory, and besides, logiclly thinking, if yuo need that run to a place, it's likely you don't have the map saved on your pc! So its totaly unacceptable to be kicked for a lag Last edited by Maria The Princess; Mar 27, 2006 at 07:25 PM // 19:25.. |

I vote for lame. If you're lagging, I'm pretty sure you won't "lag the whole game". When were you playing? Yesterday? I didn't lag at all yesterday...
